| The road twisted and turned like a fisherman's line freshly
drawn from an ocean depth. Soaked and mossy like the english
countryside that surrounded me. My wipers at full speed were
barely enough to keep the relentless rain pounding my windshield
from completely obstructing my view. I traveled the old road,
en route to Killiam Manor where a crime had been committed.
It was my new assignment and I knew I could solve it, but
then just as I began to see the blurred lights of the stately
manor, an uneasy wave of apprehension fell over me as I remembered
